This month, the American Holistic Nurses' Association has chosen to highlight ALLEGRA Learning's nationally endorsed program--The Certificate in Holistic and Integrative Health--in their national newsletter.

The field of integrative health is growing rapidly due to the changing healthcare climate, a growing need for a "different" healthcare system, and a recognition of the benefits of combining the external, physical, and technologic successes of medicine with the internal, nonphysical exploration of healing. This 12-course program offers 50 contact hours of leading edge educational content including courses in holistic stress management, health and the human spirit, healing elements of meditation, healing environments, Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, music therapy and sound healing, nutrition, healing effects of physical activity, therapeutic massage and bodywork, and energy healing.

This certificate program has been nationally endorsed by AHNA after a rigorous peer-review process and approval of the AHNA Leadership Council.
